Visit Fallon

As the county seat of Churchill County, and set just off U.S. Route 50, Fallon is home to the Top Gun Raceway - if you're feeling maverick, enjoy a drag race or two. Fallon is also home to the Fallon Naval Air Station, location of the Navy's Top Gun Pilot Training School. Visitors will find a variety of things to see and do - so be sure to check out the Churchill County Museum, which features exhibits from Native American tribes, the Emigrant Trail, and the Pony Express.

Guests often visit the Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge at Carson Lake. Open year-round, the refuge advices bird-watching enthusiasts visit from mid-April into late May. Grimes Point is a great spot for some outdoors exploration - so check out the ancient petroglyphs - and don't miss the Lahontan State Recreation Area for fishing.
